I would love this! But it wouldn’t be complete without Wolverine’s pint-sized intangible ninja, Shadowcat!
Of course she’d have to be invited

Rogue: How can ah ever love you… really love you… if ah can’t trust you?Can anybody confirm that her character portrayal isn’t super orientalist/racist/sexist?
Like, she’s a niqabi (whose trademark abaya is weirdly form-fitting), first introduced while being rescued from Afghanistan (shortly after the US began its invasion), and her mutant power is turning into sand? I am supremely suspicious.
Yes and no. Going under a cut because I have a LOT to talk about on the subject. Let me just preface this all with that I’m an Afghan American Muslimah that has a lot of problems and issues with her origins/basic character traits (Arabic only speaking Afghan????; wears niqab/abaya during Taliban control when the burka was the chosen article for women??? wtc) but has come to respect her as a character due to certain development.
The Daily Show, June 2, 2015
This is absolutely terrible and a perfect representation of the overt sexism that pervades our culture’s current state of mind. People can say that we’re forward thinkers and we treat women fairly, but the truth is we pick and choose what qualities and characteristics are deemed “appropriate” for women and we call it “equality”! It’s not equality, it is the same patriarchy that has subjugated the role of women for centuries…
Alright I’m off my soap box… I could go on forever.
The Rogue Cut is coming.
Ugh she looks so ashen!
I agree! That ain’t the southern belle I know :(
it was their secret, her name, and they guarded it like it was the key to mutation. [x]
